Washington, D.C. Office Expansion
VVA provided project and cost management services for Goodwin Procter’s Washington, D.C. office, supporting the design and construction of an 80,000-square-foot space across two floors, with an additional 10,000 square feet added mid-project.
VVA played a key role in technical lease negotiations, addressing turnover conditions, site access, approval periods, and MEP service specifications to ensure the project met all operational and contractual requirements.
The build-out included:
- An interconnecting staircase
- A multi-purpose room with Skyfold partitions, located in the embellishment space
- Standard-sized offices and workstations
- Pantries, conference rooms, and reception areas
The primary challenge was coordinating and completing the renovation of the space in close succession to the core and shell build-out. VVA’s meticulous planning and execution ensured the project was delivered successfully despite the tight timeline.
