Science Center Expansion & Renovation

VVA provided project management services for the expansion and renovation of Manhattan College’s Engineering and Science Building, delivering a state-of-the-art facility for the next generation of engineers and scientists.

The project involved the new construction of a 35,000 SF extension and the renovation of 20,000 SF within the existing 100-year-old building, adding over 50,000 SF of new engineering and science labs while integrating additional MEP infrastructure to support future upgrades.

VVA’s Role

VVA was engaged from the early planning stages, providing oversight on:

• Concept drawing reviews and procurement of enabling work, including demolition, abatement, and service relocations
• Value engineering, optimizing systems to align with project needs and budget
• Lump sum bidding and change order management
• Final financial closeout, ensuring a seamless project completion
