VVA provided project management services for the renovation of Temple Shalom of Newton, enhancing its Sanctuary (seating for 300), Social Hall (seating for 250), and main entrance at 175 Temple Street, Newton, MA.
Scope of Work
- Sanctuary and Social Hall renovations to modernize and improve functionality
- Upgrades to bathrooms and kitchen to enhance visitor and event experiences
- Installation of a new Torah Ark, requiring close coordination with Rabbis and the community-based Ark committee
- Addition of a new entrance, improving accessibility and flow
Pre-planning for the construction phase was critical to ensuring the project stayed on schedule and was successfully completed in time for the High Holy season.
