Employee Spotlight: Welcoming Agatha Habjan, Hospitality & Retail Lead

We’re excited to welcome a new leader to the VVA team—Agatha Habjan, LEED AP, who joins us as a Director leading our growing national Hospitality & Retail practice.

With over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry, Agatha brings a seasoned perspective, deep architectural training, and a proven ability to guide complex projects from vision to reality. Her portfolio includes standout work in hospitality, high-end residential, corporate interiors, and more—each project marked by thoughtful design, rigorous execution, and client-centered solutions.

Agatha’s leadership is defined by her commitment to excellence, her ability to see both the big picture and the details, and her collaborative style that turns challenges into opportunities. Her past work spans luxury resorts like Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Montego Bay, prestigious Manhattan high-end residences, global offices for major corporations like Brown Brothers Harriman and Moody’s, and a range of impactful institutional spaces including multiple New York-Presbyterian facilities.

As the Director spearheading VVA’s Hospitality & Retail sector, Agatha is excited to build upon VVA’s reputation for precision, advocacy, and partnership. She’s especially energized by the opportunity to help hospitality brands elevate their spaces and create memorable guest experiences, while driving value, minimizing risk, and delivering results that stand the test of time.

Agatha holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and is a LEED-accredited professional, with expertise spanning architecture, interior design, and project delivery management.
