Employee Spotlight: Welcoming Lisa Knip, Expanding VVA into Toronto

VVA is proud to announce the addition of Lisa Knip as our first team member in Toronto, marking an exciting new chapter in our firm’s growth across North America.

Lisa brings more than 30 years of architecture and project management experience, with a career defined by leadership, mentorship, and delivery of high-impact projects for some of the world’s most recognized companies. Her expertise spans corporate interiors, large-scale commercial projects, and financial sector design, with a portfolio that includes notable work for Morgan Stanley, Google, JPMorgan Chase, MetLife, and Capital One, among many others.

Throughout her career, Lisa has built a reputation as a strong and trusted leader. She has successfully managed complex team dynamics, secured repeat clients and projects, and pushed forward global business development opportunities. Beyond her project work, Lisa is deeply committed to shaping the industry’s next generation of leaders. She is an active participant in several mentorship programs and was honored as a Woman of Valor in 2023 for her contributions to the field.

With dual degrees in Architecture and Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and professional accreditations across multiple U.S. states and Canada—including LEED Professional and NCARB certification—Lisa combines technical expertise with a client-first mindset that consistently drives results.
