VVA Announces Kim Beisner and Ian White as Managing Directors

Please join us in congratulating Kim Beisner and Ian White as new Managing Directors of the firm! Both Kim and Ian have proven to be great leaders not only in providing their clients with exceptional service and dedication and in propagating new business opportunities, but in spearheading multiple initiatives to assist in staff development and growth that will further embody the VVA mission, vision, and core values.

Kim has a distinguished history with VVA, having over 18 years with the firm, honing extensive experience in project management, scheduling, project team coordination, and quality control. Kim’s assignments have included managing high profile and large-scale projects across Tech, Media, Education, Non-Profit, Retail, Residential, Legal, Financial, Commercial, and mixed-use sectors. Kim has a comprehensive background in managing both out-of-the-ground core and shell work as well as interior projects. Prior to this role, as Director, Kim has led multiple initiatives for VVA to promote staff development and growth.

Ian came to VVA in 2018 as San Francisco employee #1, helping to open VVA’s San Francisco office with over a decade of project management under his belt. Under his leadership, VVA maintained our San Francisco team and portfolio in the face of an international pandemic and continued to find growth opportunities for the business through post-pandemic uncertainty. Ian has a diverse project portfolio ranging from infrastructure upgrades, ground-up data center construction, and lab & TI buildouts. Ian acquired his energetic and collaborative problem-solving approach by serving three combat tours as a Combat Engineer in the United Stated Marine Corps. Prior to joining the VVA team, Ian worked as a project manager for the Department of Energy, Bay Area, where he developed detailed quality control skills, honed complex budgeting abilities, and refined soft side attributes quintessential to managing multiple stakeholders.
